How to transfer browser profiles to another Multilogin account

What this feature does
Profile transfer lets you move cloud browser profiles from your account to another Multilogin account owner.
This is useful when you:
- Hand over ready browser profiles to a client
- Move finished work to another company account
- Reorganize profiles without rebuilding them from scratch
For example, you can prepare browser profiles with settings, cookies, extensions, and proxy setup – then transfer them to your client when the work is done.

This helps the receiver continue from the same setup, instead of starting over.
Browser profiles may include active sessions, cookies, extensions, and saved website data. Only transfer profiles to someone you trust. If you receive a transfer, accept it only when you know who sent it and why.
What are the limitations
- Only the account owner can send and receive the transfer
- Only works with cloud browser profiles
- You can transfer no more than 10 browser profiles at a time
- The receiver must have a Multilogin account with an active subscription
- The receiver must have enough profile slots in their account
- The transfer request should be accepted within 48 hours
- The transfer is permanent, and you can’t undo it
How to transfer browser profiles
Step 1 (sender): open profile transfer menu
- Go to the “Profiles” tab in the top menu
- Select “Browser” from the left-side selector
- Select the profiles you want to transfer
- Right-click on any profile in the list, or use the top menu and click “Transfer”

Step 2 (sender): confirm the transfer
A pop-up window will appear, where you’ll see the list of profiles you’ve selected.
- Type in the email of the person you’re sending the profile to – this email must belong to a Multilogin account owner
- Click “Send” to confirm
Your transfer request will be sent to the receiver, and both of you will get confirmation emails.

Step 3 (receiver): accept the transfer
Before reviewing and accepting the transfer, check your limits and make sure you have enough space for new profiles in your account. You can delete the profiles you don't need – just remember to empty the trash bin after.
Once the sender confirms the transfer, you'll get a message “Browser profile transfer request”.
- Click “Review”
- Click “Accept” or “Reject” in the confirmation window
You'll have 48 hours to either accept or reject the transfer.
- If you accept, the profiles will show up in your account right away and disappear from the sender's account
- If you reject, the transfer will be canceled, and the profiles will remain in the sender's account
- If you do nothing for 48 hours, the request expires automatically

FAQs
Can I undo the transfer once it's done?
Nope! Once you transfer the profiles, it’s permanent.
What if the other person doesn’t accept the transfer in time?
If the receiver doesn't accept within 48 hours, the transfer will automatically expire, and the profiles will remain in sender's account.
Can I transfer more than 10 profiles at once?
Nope, the limit is 10 profiles per transfer.
Can I transfer local profiles?
No. Only cloud browser profiles can be transferred.
Are cookies and extensions transferred?
Yes. Cookies, local storage, sessions, extensions, and supported profile data are included.
