Built on Chromium, Mimic gives you undetectable browsing with full fingerprint control, proxy support, and top-tier anti-detect tech – perfect for scraping, ads, and multi-account work.
Step 1: configure general settings
The “General” section in Multilogin is where it all begins. From naming profiles and adding notes to choosing the right browser, storage, cookies, and more – every setting helps streamline your workflow and reduce mistakes.
➡️ For a full, easy-to-follow guide on these basics, check out our detailed article: General section in profile settings.

Step 2: configure proxy settings
The “Proxy” section helps you protect your real IP with flexible, easy-to-set options. Use a unique proxy for each profile to avoid detection and keep your accounts safe.
What’s inside:
- Use Multilogin built-in proxy for premium IPs and advanced controls
- Add your custom proxy (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5) in seconds
- Save time with proxy templates for quick, repeatable setups
- Or go without – but know the risks of skipping a proxy

Step 3: configure fingerprint settings (optional)
Fingerprint settings let you dive deep into how your browser profiles behave – things like screen resolution, media devices, graphics data, and more. These settings affect your browser fingerprint and can help you blend in better or customize your profile exactly how you want.
Heads up: we don’t recommend changing these settings unless you really know what you’re doing. Our system already generates safe, optimized defaults to keep your profiles stealthy and working smoothly.
➡️ If you’re ready to take full control, switch to the “Fingerprint” section in your profile and explore these expert options carefully.

Step 4: create and start your profile
Before starting a profile, make sure your agent is connected!

- Head back to the “Profiles” tab, find your profile, and hit “Start” to open it
