How to create browser profiles
Browser profiles are for web tasks in Multilogin, like opening websites, dashboards, seller centers, CRMs, web apps, browser extensions, and browser automation.
➡️ To create one, go to “Profiles” → “Browser” → “Create” → choose your settings → click “Create”.
Each browser profile keeps its own cookies, session data, proxy settings, and browser fingerprint, so your web work stays separated and easier to manage.
Working with mobile apps instead? Use Android cloud phones for apps like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This guide is only for browser profiles.
Who can use this feature?
- 👨💻 Account owner, manager, and operator
- 💰 Available on all plans

Step 1: configure general settings
The “General” section is where you name the browser profile, pick storage, add notes, and set basic options. This helps you keep profiles clear and easy to find later, especially when your list starts growing.
➡️ For a full, easy-to-follow guide on these basics, check out our detailed article: General section in profile settings.

Step 2: configure proxy settings
The “Proxy” section lets you choose how this browser profile connects to the internet.
You can:
- Use Multilogin built-in proxies
- Add your own HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5 proxy
- Save proxy details as a template
- Or go without – but know the risks of skipping a proxy
For cleaner profile management, many users add one proxy per browser profile, especially when profiles need different locations.
➡️ Check the full guide to choose the best IP masking solution for your workflow.

Step 3: configure fingerprint settings (optional)
The “Fingerprint” section lets you control browser signals like screen resolution, media devices, graphics data, timezone, and more.
Most users should keep the default settings. Multilogin already creates values that work together, and random edits can make a profile less consistent.
➡️ If you’re ready to take full control, switch to the “Fingerprint” section in your profile and explore these expert options carefully.

Step 4: create and start your profile
Using the web interface? Before starting a profile, make sure your agent is connected.
- Click “Create” to save your settings
- Head back to the “Profiles” tab, find your profile, and hit “Start” to open it
