How to use browser profile template manager

Who can use this feature?

  • 👨‍💻 Account owner and manager
  • 💰 Available on all plans

What is a profile template manager?

The profile template manager helps you create and reuse profiles without repeating the same setup every time (proxy, fingerprint, OS, etc.). Think of it like having ready-made blueprints for your browsing sessions.

  • Save time: no more filling the same fields over and over
  • Stay consistent: ensure the same setup across profiles or teammates
  • Reduce mistakes: fewer chances to misconfigure
  • Onboard faster: new team members can start with ready-made templates
  • Bulk-create profiles: perfect for high-volume workflows

How to use profile templates

How to create profile templates

  1. Go to the “Profile templates” section found in the top navigation bar
  2. Click “Create”
  3. Adjust the settings you need just like in the browser profile creation flow
  4. Click “Create”

How to set a default profile template

  • Set as default: click “Set as default” next to the template you want to apply to all new profiles automatically
  • Remove default: click “Reset” next to the same template

How to edit or rename profile templates

  • Edit a template: select a template → click “Edit” in the top menu, or right-click a template → choose “Edit”
  • Rename a template: right-click a template → click “Rename” → type a new name → hit Enter

How to delete profile templates

Delete templates by moving them to the trash bin. Inside the trash bin, you can:

  • Restore templates
  • Permanently delete templates
  • Empty trash bin to clear all templates at once

How to create profiles from a template

Regular profile

  1. Go to the “Profiles” tab in the top menu
  2. Select “Browser” from the left-side selector
  3. Click the arrow icon next to the “Create” button in the “Profiles” section
  4. Select “From template”
  5. Choose a template and confirm with “Create”

Quick profile

  1. Go to the “Profiles” tab in the top menu
  2. Select “Browser” from the left-side selector
  3. Click “Quick” to open quick profile settings
  4. Use a “Profile template” selector to apply a template you need
  5. All settings will autofill – but you can still tweak them before starting the profile

How to save an existing profile as a template

Open your browser profile settings, make the changes you need, and click “Save as a profile template”. Then, hit “Create” or “Update”. Your browser profile settings will be saved as a template in the “Templates” section.

FAQ

If I edit a template, do the profiles made from it update automatically?

No. Profiles stay independent once created. This prevents bans that could happen if a profile’s settings suddenly change.

Exception: tags and notes do sync between templates and profiles.

If I create profiles from a template, will they have the exact same fingerprint?

It will depend on the profile template settings. If the settings are masked, the profiles will have different fingerprints. However, if the settings are set to “Custom” or “Real”, the profiles will share the same fingerprint.
