CookieRobot opens selected websites and collects cookie data automatically for browser profiles.

➡️ To run CookieRobot in Multilogin CLI, launch Multilogin → open CLI → sign in → get the browser profile ID → run xcli cookie-robot --profile-id profile_id on Windows or ./xcli cookie-robot --profile-id profile_id on macOS/Linux.

Before you start

• Launch Multilogin so you have the latest CLI version
• Open Multilogin CLI
• Have your Multilogin login details ready
• Get the IDs of the browser profiles you want to use

Open Multilogin CLI 

Launch Multilogin, then open Command Prompt or Terminal, go to the CLI folder and run CLI executable:

Run default settings

1. Sign in via xcli login --username your name --password your password:

Windows

1. Paste this prompt to sign in: 

   xcli login --username 'your username' --password 'your password'

2. Replace values of the flags  (--username and --password) with your email and password

 

 

macOS

1. Paste this prompt to sign in: 

   ./xcli login --username 'your username' --password 'your password'

2. Replace values of the flags  (--username and --password) with your email and password

 

 

Linux

1. Paste this prompt to sign in: 

   ./xcli login --username 'your username' --password 'your password'

2. Replace values of the flags  (--username and --password) with your email and password

 

 

2. Collect one or more profile IDs you wish to gather cookies
3. Enter xcli cookie-robot --profile-id “profile id” → your browser will open in headless mode and start collecting cookies!

Customize settings

There are several customizable parameters that influence how the crawling process works. They allow users to adjust settings such as the target website, crawling order, and more. By fine-tuning these options, users can optimize the script’s performance to their specific needs.

An object containing a website that will be crawled by the CookieRobot, such as --website=https://google.com. Multiple entries can be added.

--random-order

--random-order

• --random-order=true → mix things up and visit sites randomly
• --random-order=false → keep everything in order and visit sites as listed

--fraction-mode

--fraction-mode

Want to run just a portion of the websites, instead of all of them as default? Choose a float number between 0.0 and 1.0 (0% to 100%) as the fraction.

• --fraction-mode=0.5 will run 50% of the websites in the list

--process-cookie-consent

--process-cookie-consent

Controls whether CookieRobot tries to interact with supported cookie-consent pop-ups.

• --process-cookie-consent=true →  CookieRobot will click the consent button automatically (default)
• --process-cookie-consent=false → CookieRobot will ignore cookie pop-ups.
