How to use Multilogin proxy: guide

Multilogin now offers its own built-in proxy service. With that, you can access over 5 million premium residential IPs for free – directly from your profile settings.
With every Multilogin account that has a paid subscription, comes bonus proxy traffic. The bonus never expires, and when you run out of traffic, it's easy to top up!

Multilogin proxy is only available in Multilogin X.
How to use Multilogin proxy
Regular profiles
- In profile settings, go to the "Proxy" section
- Select "Multilogin"
- Select a location by specifying the country, region, and city
- Choose a protocol (HTTP or SOCKS5)
- Set an IP rotation method:
- Keep IP for as long as possible: Your IP will change on average every 24h
- Custom, sec: You can specify the frequency of your IP rotation
- Get new IP: You can manually switch the IP with a single click
- Click "Check proxy":
- "Proxy check passed" means that Multilogin successfully connected to the proxy and got the required IP-dependent data
- "Proxy check failed" means that Multilogin couldn't connect to the proxy – check this article to learn why: How to fix profile launch or proxy connection issues
- Finally, create or update your profile and launch it

- Click “Quick profile”
- Head over to the “Proxy” section
- Select “Multilogin”
- Select a location by specifying the country, region, and city
- Choose a protocol (HTTP or SOCKS5)
- Set an IP rotation method:
- Keep IP for as long as possible: Your IP will change on average every 24h
- Custom, sec: You can specify the frequency of your IP rotation
- Get new IP: You can manually switch the IP with a single click
- Finally, click “Launch” to start a profile
How to check your IP

Ready to see if your setup is airtight? Checking your fingerprint is like running a quick vibe check for your browser. Let’s make sure everything looks smooth and legit!
Use these tools to inspect your browser fingerprint:
- What Is My IP: check your IP address and make sure it matches your intended location (default Multilogin checker)
- Pixelscan: get a detailed view of your browser fingerprint
- BrowserLeaks: spot any fingerprint inconsistencies that might expose your real identity
Can websites see I've visited the What Is My IP page or other checkers?
No. If you are worried that websites will read its cookies and find out that you are a Multilogin user, we've got good news for you!
Websites can only access cookies associated with their own domain. In other words, Multilogin cookies are visible only to Multilogin, while Facebook recognizes solely its own cookies. This principle is known as the "Same-origin policy" (SOP), a foundational concept dating back to the creation of the first browsers.
Here's how to check your fingerprint:
- Open your Multilogin profile
- Use one of the tools above to test your fingerprint
- Look for inconsistencies in IP address, browser version, or OS
- Adjust your settings in Multilogin to fix any mismatches
How to retrieve Multilogin proxy details
Follow the steps below to get Multilogin proxy details from a profile:
- Go to the “Profiles” page in Multilogin X
- Open DevTools. Here's how to do that for Chromium–based and Firefox–based browsers:
- Windows and Linux: press
Ctrl + Shift + I - macOS: press
Cmd + Option + I
- Windows and Linux: press
- Switch to the “Network” tab in the DevTools panel
To clear the logs, you can click the button highlighted in the tooltip.
- Click the profile name you want to check the Multilogin proxy details for
- In the logs appearing in DevTools, search for metas and click on it
- Switch to the “Response” tab in the newly opened panel, where you will find the proxy details: host, password, port, type, username
