Browser cores are the engines behind Multilogin profiles – based on Chrome (Mimic) and Firefox (Stealthfox). They control how your profiles render websites, interact with tools, and stay stealthy.

How core updates work

1. Multilogin tracks new browser core releases
2. We roll out updates 1–2 weeks later
3. Your profiles are updated automatically when you start them

Why we don’t update instantly

We hold off on browser core updates for 1–2 weeks after their official release. Why? Because patience = protection.

• Avoid risky bugs: fresh Chrome/Firefox releases often come with hidden flaws. We wait until they’re fixed
• Prevent crashes: early adopters often run into unexpected issues. We’d rather you have a smooth, stable experience
• Reduce bans: some sites flag new browser versions as suspicious. Waiting helps you blend in naturally
• Keep your tools working: frameworks like Puppeteer and Selenium need time to catch up. Early updates can break automation setups

How to check the core version

1. Click the “Info” button in the bottom panel
2. In the pop-up, you’ll see the latest Mimic version
