How to fix error “Some settings were reset”
The “Some settings were reset” warning can appear when a browser profile’s saved screen resolution is larger than the screen available on the computer you’re using.
➡️ Stop the browser profile → right-click it → click “Edit” → open “Fingerprint” → check “Screen resolution” → choose a resolution that fits the current device → save and start the profile again.
Use this when the warning appears after moving a browser profile to another computer or display setup.

This error pops up when you open a profile on devices with different screen resolutions. If your current screen resolution is lower than the one used to create the profile, settings might revert to default.
Stick to one device
Always use the same device or ensure consistent screen resolutions across devices when launching a profile.
Keep resolutions consistent
Avoid opening profiles with a resolution higher than your device’s screen resolution – it can cause display issues. Switching devices? Make sure their screen resolutions match to keep things running smoothly.
Follow the guide below to adjust your device’s screen resolution and keep everything looking sharp.
Windows
- Right-click your desktop and choose “Display settings”
- Check the “Display resolution” under “Scale and layout”
