How to fix browser fingerprint inconsistencies

How to check your browser fingerprint

Check fingerprint

Ready to see if your setup is airtight? Checking your fingerprint is like running a quick vibe check for your browser. Let’s make sure everything looks smooth and legit!

Use these tools to inspect your browser fingerprint:

  • Whoer IP: check your IP address and make sure it matches your intended location (default Multilogin checker)
  • Pixelscan: get a detailed view of your browser fingerprint
  • BrowserLeaks: spot any fingerprint inconsistencies that might expose your real identity

Can websites see I've visited the Whoer IP page or other checkers?

No. If you are worried that websites will read its cookies and find out that you are a Multilogin user, we've got good news for you!

Websites can only access cookies associated with their own domain. In other words, Multilogin cookies are visible only to Multilogin, while Facebook recognizes solely its own cookies. This principle is known as the "Same-origin policy" (SOP), a foundational concept dating back to the creation of the first browsers.

Here's how to check your fingerprint:

  1. Open your Multilogin profile
  2. Use one of the tools above to test your fingerprint
  3. Look for inconsistencies in IP address, browser version, or OS
  4. Adjust your settings in Multilogin to fix any mismatches

How to handle fingerprint warnings

Fingerprint warnings? No worries – they’re just clues that something might be off in your setup. Investigating and fixing them is easier than you think. Let’s break it down and get everything running flawlessly!

Looking to beat the Ticketmaster queue in 2025? Check out our full guide on bypassing Ticketmaster queues here and see how Multilogin can boost your chances – starting at just €3.99!

Hardware warnings

This happens when your real operating system (OS) doesn’t match your profile settings.

  • For the best masking: use your native OS in your fingerprint settings (for example, if your native OS is Windows, select Windows as your profile's operating system)
  • Optional combos: if your fingerprint OS doesn't match your real OS, it makes your fingerprint way less reliable

Location and IP warnings

These are typically caused by proxy issues. Proxies are like the middlemen of your online location game.

  • Fix it fast: use top-tier residential or mobile proxies to fully mask your location (we recommend using our built-in solution – Multilogin proxy)
  • Pro tip: avoid free or low-quality proxies – they’ll just cause more problems

Boost your privacy by combining Pixelscan (to test your fingerprint) with Multilogin (to fix leaks + stay undetected). Check out the full Multilogin + Pixelscan guide here and start for just €3.99!

Browser warnings

An outdated browser version can make you stand out (and not in a good way). This might even lead to account bans on some websites.

  • Stay updated: always use the latest browser core version
  • Check your User-Agent: make sure it matches the most recent browser versions and your emulated OS

Customizing your User-Agent in the "Navigator" section? Cool, but tread carefully. A mismatch between browser version and emulated OS can trigger warnings. Only tweak these settings if you know your way around fingerprints.

Following these steps keeps your masking game strong, boosts security, and helps you avoid unnecessary warnings. You’ve got this!
