How to run CookieRobot using Script runner in Postman
In Multilogin, CookieRobot helps you warm up browser profiles by visiting websites and collecting cookies automatically. It's useful when you're preparing new profiles and don't want to visit every website yourself.
➡️ In Postman, open “Multilogin API” → “Script Runner” → “Start Script Runner” → add your automation token → enter your CookieRobot settings → click “Send”.
CookieRobot is only for browser profiles. Cloud phones don't need this browser-cookie warm-up because they run Android apps. CookieRobot can help build browsing history, but it doesn't guarantee lower detection risk or prevent account restrictions.
Who can use automation?
- 👨💻 Account owner and all team members (access to features depends on roles)
- 💰 Available on Pro 10 and higher plans
Before you start
You'll need:
- Multilogin running on your computer
- Postman with the Multilogin API collection imported
- A valid automation token
- The IDs of the browser profiles you want to use
Stop your browser profiles first
CookieRobot needs the selected profiles to be stopped before starting this workflow.
Step 1: open Script runner
- Open Postman → “Collections” → “Multilogin API” → “Script Runner”
- Select “Start Script Runner”
- Open “Authorization” → select “Bearer Token”
- Paste your automation token into the “Token” field

Step 2: add CookieRobot
- Open the “Body” tab
- Select “raw” → “JSON”
- Paste this request:
{
"script_file": "cookie_robot.py",
"object_id": "1cf0aa65-1df9-4b28-a201-535f701acc24",
"is_builtin": true,
"profile_ids": [
{
"profile_id": "profile uuid"
},
{
"profile_id": "profile uuid",
"is_headless": true
}
],
"script_params": [
{
"name": "websites",
"value": [
"https://youtube.com",
"https://google.com",
"https://amazon.com"
]
},
{
"name": "randomOrder",
"value": true
},
{
"name": "fractionMode",
"value": 0.7
},
{
"name": "processCookieConsent",
"value": true
},
{
"name": "closeBrowser",
"value": false
}
]
}-
Replace
"profile uuid"with your actual browser profile IDs - Adjust the websites and settings as needed
Keep the built-in script details unchanged
CookieRobot already includes cookie_robot.py and the object_id shown above. You don't need to download or install the script separately.
Step 3: customize CookieRobot
You can decide which websites CookieRobot visits, how many it visits, and what happens afterward.
Browser profiles
-
profile_id: the browser profile you want to warm up -
is_headless:trueruns without a visible browser window, whilefalselets you watch it work
Websites
Use websites to list the websites you want CookieRobot to visit.
For example, if you're preparing browser profiles for marketplace work, you could include Amazon, eBay, and other relevant websites.
If you leave the list empty, CookieRobot uses its default websites.
Website order
-
randomOrder: true: visits websites in a random order -
randomOrder: false: follows the order in your list
Number of websites
Use fractionMode to choose how much of your website list CookieRobot visits.
-
1.0: all websites -
0.5: half the websites -
0.7: 70% of the websites
For example, if you've added 20 websites and set fractionMode to 0.5, CookieRobot will visit 10 of them.
Set randomOrder to true when using fractionMode.
Cookie pop-ups
-
processCookieConsent: true: tries to handle supported cookie-consent pop-ups -
processCookieConsent: false: leaves them alone
CookieRobot may not handle every website's cookie banner.
Close the browser afterward
-
closeBrowser: true: closes the profile when CookieRobot finishes -
closeBrowser: false: leaves the profile open
Step 4: run CookieRobot
Once everything looks right:
- Check your profile IDs and website list
- Click “Send”
- Check the API response
- Wait for CookieRobot to finish visiting the selected websites
A 200 OK response means the API request worked. Check the script results to confirm CookieRobot completed its work.
If you're not using headless mode, you can watch CookieRobot visit websites in the browser.

Troubleshooting
Getting 401 Unauthorized
Check your automation token under “Authorization” → “Bearer Token”.
If it has expired, generate a new automation token.
CookieRobot won't start
Make sure Multilogin is running, your browser profiles are stopped, and your profile IDs are correct.
Also check that your request contains valid JSON.
CookieRobot skips some websites
Check fractionMode. If it's set to 0.5, CookieRobot will only visit half your list.
Set it to 1.0 to visit every website.
For other API errors, see Multilogin API rate limits and response codes.
