Getting the “Application request limit is reached” error?

No stress – this is a common issue and usually fixed with a quick app restart. Let’s look at why it happens and how to solve it.
Why this happens
This error pops up when Multilogin sends too many requests to the server, which can occur due to:
- Multiple devices: running Multilogin 6 on more than one computer at the same time
- Extended uptime: not restarting the app for over two weeks
- Too many open profiles: even idle profiles can generate requests, overloading the system
To prevent this error, restart Multilogin at least every 2 weeks to refresh your authentication token.
How to fix it
Option 1: restart the app
- Close Multilogin completely on all devices
- Wait for around 5 to 10 minutes
- Reopen it on a single device to reset the request count
Option 2: reduce open profiles
- Close any profiles you’re not actively using
- Try to keep the number of concurrent profiles manageable
If the error persists after following these steps, reach out to Multilogin support for help. You’ve got this! 🚀
