How to use two-factor authentication in Multilogin X
What 2FA is for
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a way to make your Multilogin account more secure by adding an extra step when you log in. Instead of just using your password, you’ll also need a code from an app like Google Authenticator. Let’s walk you through how to set it up and why it’s important!

Why 2FA is useful
- Extra security: even if someone has your password, they can’t access your account without the code
- Quick setup: it only takes a few minutes to set up, but it adds a lot of protection
- Required for teams: if you're in a team, 2FA helps ensure only trusted people access the workspace
