What profile import is for

Profile import lets you upload exported profiles (in .zip format) into your Multilogin X account. It’s perfect when switching devices, collaborating across teams, or restoring backups.

Why profile import is useful

• Move profiles between accounts or devices easily
• Secure and encrypted – your data stays safe
• Instant setup – imported profiles show up ready to use

What are the limitations

• You can import up to 10 profiles at a time
• Only the account owner has permission to import profiles
• You can import cloud profiles that are up to 100 MB each and local profiles up to 2 GB each

How to import profiles

1. Choose the menu you prefer:
   1. Click “More” in the toolbar, or
   2. Click the arrow pointing down next to the “Create” button

2. Click “Import profile”
3. Upload up to 10 .zip files
4. Choose where to store them: cloud or local
5. Click “Import” – your profile(s) will appear in the list

Pro tips

• Organize imported profiles with tags or folders right after import
• Choose local storage for faster access on one device, or cloud for syncing across multiple setups

Can I import more than 10 profiles?

You can – just repeat the process with the next batch.

Can I import a profile I exported from another account?

Yes! Just make sure you’re logged into the correct account when importing.

What happens to tags?

The tags that the profile had when it had been exported will re-appear after import.
