What profile import is for

Profile import lets you upload exported profiles (in .zip format) into your Multilogin account. It’s perfect when switching devices, collaborating across teams, or restoring backups.

Feature limitations

• Only the account owner can import profiles
• You can import up to 10 profiles at a time
• You can import cloud profiles that are up to 100 MB each and local profiles up to 2 GB each

How to import profiles

1. Go to the “Profiles” tab in the top menu
2. Select “Browser” from the left-side selector
3. Choose the menu you prefer:
   1. Use the top menu
   2. Click the arrow pointing down next to the “Create” button
4. Click “Import profile”
5. Upload up to 10 .zip files
6. Choose where to store them: cloud or local
7. Click “Import” – your profile(s) will appear in the list

• Organize imported profiles with tags or folders right after import
• Choose local storage for faster access on one device, or cloud for syncing across multiple setups

Can I import more than 10 profiles?

You can – just repeat the process with the next batch.

Can I import a profile I exported from another Multilogin workspace?

Yes! Just make sure you’re logged into the correct workspace when importing.

What happens to tags?

The tags that the profile had when it had been exported will reappear after import.
