Who can use this feature?

  • 👨‍💻 Account owner, manager, and operator
  • 💰 Available on all plans

What storage conversion is for

Browser profile storage conversion lets you change where your browser profiles are stored – either on your device (local) or online (cloud). It’s perfect for managing performance or syncing across devices.

  • Cloud storage: access profiles from multiple devices
  • Local storage: faster performance on a single machine

Important: mobile profiles are always cloud-based and can’t be stored locally.

Feature limitations

  • You can convert a local profile to cloud, if it's 100 MB or less
  • You can convert a cloud profile to local, if it's 2 GB or less

How to convert profile storage

  1. Go to the “Profiles” tab in the top menu
  2. Select “Browser” from the left-side selector
  3. Select one or more profiles using checkboxes
  4. Right-click any profile and select “Convert storage”

Selected profiles will be automatically converted to the opposite type (local ↔ cloud).

How to check storage type

To check the current storage type, go to the browser profile list and look at the icon in the “Storage” column:

  • ☁️ Cloud = stored online
  • 💻 Device = stored on your device

Pro tips

  • Use cloud storage if you work from multiple locations or devices
  • Use local storage for speed, especially if you’re launching lots of profiles
  • Combine with filters to batch-convert specific types of profiles

FAQs

Can I convert multiple profiles at once?

Absolutely! Just select them using the checkboxes before clicking “Convert storage”.

Will any data be lost during conversion?

Nope – your profile stays intact, just changes where it’s stored.

Is there a limit to how many times I can convert?

No limits! Switch as often as you need.
