What storage conversion is for

Profile storage conversion lets you change where your browser profiles are stored – either on your device (local) or online (cloud). It’s perfect for managing performance or syncing across devices.

Why storage conversion is useful

• Cloud storage: access profiles from multiple devices
• Local storage: faster performance on a single machine
• Flexible control: change storage type anytime based on your workflow

What are the limitations

• You can convert a local profile to cloud, if it's 100 MB or less
• You can convert a cloud profile to local, if it's 2 GB or less

How to convert profile storage

1. Select one or more profiles using the checkboxes
2. Right-click any profile
3. Click “Convert storage”
4. The profile(s) will be automatically converted to the opposite type (local ↔ cloud)

How to check storage type

To check the current storage type, look at the icon in the Storage column:

• Cloud = stored online
• Device = stored on your device

Pro tips

• Use cloud storage if you work from multiple locations or devices
• Use local storage for speed, especially if you’re launching lots of profiles
• Combine with filters to batch-convert specific types of profiles
