How to enable web camera in Multilogin profiles
It’s super annoying when you’re ready to hop on a call or use a website that needs your webcam, and it suddenly can't connect.
Why isn't my webcam working when I try to use it in a Multilogin profile?
Don’t worry – this happens because of a feature called media device masking. It’s easy to fix, and you’ll have your webcam working in no time! 🎥
Here’s how to fix it:
- Go to the “Profiles” tab in the top menu
- Select “Browser” from the left-side selector
- Create or edit a profile to view its settings
- Open the “Fingerprint” section in your browser profile settings
- Find the “Media devices” parameter and set it to “Real”
That’s it! Now the website will detect your actual webcam, and you’re good to go.
