Account banned: what should I do?

If you’re still facing issues even after following the steps in our Multiple accounts: best practices article, don’t worry – you’re not out of options! Check these extra factors to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Sometimes, small tweaks can make a huge difference 😊

Extra measures for account safety

Let’s level up your game with these tips. They’re easy to follow and super effective – trust us, you’ll thank yourself later!

Keep your browser core updated

Think of your browser like your favorite app – updates keep it fresh and functional! Using the latest browser core version helps you blend in with the crowd of regular users who install updates automatically. If you’re running an older version, websites might flag you as “different”, and that’s the last thing you want. Stay updated, stay invisible.

Mind your device usage

Launching the same profile on multiple devices can cause a hardware fingerprint mismatch – a tell-tale sign to websites that something’s off.

Even riskier? Logging into the same profile from two devices simultaneously. That’s like putting up a neon “suspicious activity” sign for websites to see.

To keep things smooth and under the radar, stick to one device per profile. Play it safe, stay stealthy!

Stick to the correct OS

Here’s the deal: you can’t fully fake an operating system. If you try using a macOS profile on Windows, websites will see right through it. It’s like wearing a turtleneck to a beach party – out of place and super obvious!

To keep things seamless, always match your profile’s OS to the actual device you’re using. Consistency is key.

Profile settings for testing

Once you’ve double-checked all the key settings, it’s time to create new profiles to pinpoint any remaining issues. Let’s break it down into two groups of profile settings for easier troubleshooting.

Testing different scenarios can help uncover what’s causing the problem – sometimes it’s all about finding the right combination 🕵️‍♀️

Geolocation access does not play an important role, so you can choose any value for this parameter.

Group 1 settings Group 2 settings
Settings to change
  • Navigator (User-Agent)
  • Ports
  • Geolocation data
  • Browser languages
  • Timezone
  • WebRTC
This group includes the rest of the settings
Scenario 1 All settings are set to “Masked”, except for Browser languages, which should be set to “Custom”. The locale/first language should match the proxy location. Choose the “Real” mode for all the settings.
Scenario 2 All settings are set to “Masked”, except for Browser languages, which should be set to “Custom”. The locale/first language should match the proxy location.

Turn on the “Masked” mode for each setting one-by-one.

For example:

If “Screen resolution” set to “Masked” does not help, you can create another profile and set “Media devices” + “Screen resolution” to “Masked” and so on.

Scenario 3 All the settings should have the default values.

Turn on the “Masked” mode for each setting one-by-one.

For example:

If “Screen resolution” set to “Masked” does not help, you can create another profile and set “Media devices” + “Screen resolution” to “Masked” and so on.
