In Multilogin, subscription settings let you add capacity as your workspace grows or move to a smaller option when you need fewer profiles. An upgrade starts immediately after payment, while a downgrade begins on your next billing date.

➡️ To change your subscription, go to “Billing” → “Change plan” → choose monthly or yearly billing → select the profile limit → click “Choose” → “Pay now”.

Use this when you need more profile slots or team seats, or want to reduce future costs without ending your current access early.

How subscription changes work

A subscription change follows a different timeline depending on whether you move to a higher or lower plan.

• ⬆️ Upgrade: starts immediately after payment, with the amount calculated from your billing cycle, unused credit, and the new price; outstanding invoices must be paid first
• ⬇️ Downgrade: begins on your next billing date, so your existing access and allowances remain available until the current period ends

Changing your main plan doesn’t affect ISP proxy purchases because they are billed separately from the included residential and mobile traffic.

Before you downgrade

Before choosing a lower plan, make sure your profile and team-seat counts fit its allowances. If either number is too high, the Multilogin app will stop working when the change takes effect.

• Browser profiles: delete the extras and empty the trash bin because items left there still count toward your profile limit
• Android cloud phones: remove only the phones you no longer need because the action is permanent
• Team seats: remove extra members until the total fits the new seat allowance

How to change a subscription

1. Click “Billing” in the top menu
2. Click “Change plan”
3. Select a billing cycle: yearly or monthly
4. Choose the number of profiles with selectors 
5. Click “Choose”
6. Click “Pay now” in the new window and complete the payment
