How to upgrade or downgrade a subscription in Multilogin
Which billing system do I use?
- New billing: Multilogin X users who registered on or after October 23, 2024
- Old billing: Multilogin 6 and Multilogin X users who registered before October 23, 2024
How subscription changes work
⬆️ Upgrades happen instantly, with pricing adjusted based on your billing cycle, unused credit, and new plan cost. Subscription upgrade is possible only if all outstanding invoices are paid!
⬇️ Downgrades take effect on your next billing date, so your current plan stays active until then.
Be sure to remove extra profiles and team members before you switch to a lower plan! For example, if the plan you want to downgrade to doesn't allow team members or has a lower limit, delete them before you downgrade.
How to change a subscription
New billing
- Hover over the “Account” section in the bottom-left corner and click “Billing”
- You’ll end up on the “Current plan” tab

- Click “Change plan” at the bottom
- Select a billing cycle: monthly or yearly

- Pick a plan and customize it using the available selectors
- Click “Choose plan” and confirm your choice

- Complete the payment:
- If you have a valid card on file, it will be charged automatically
- If you pay with crypto or Payssion, you will get a payment link via email
- If you have a valid card on file, it will be charged automatically
- Once a payment is received, your subscription will be changed
Old billing
- Log in to your billing dashboard and click "Subscription"
- Click "Manage plan" → "Choose plan" and confirm your choice
- Go to the "Invoices" tab and click "Pay now" if applicable
