How to use Mimic and legacy Stealthfox in Multilogin
Mimic and Stealthfox are browser core options for Multilogin browser profiles.
➡️ To choose one, go to “Profiles” → “Browser” → “Create”.
- Use Mimic for most browser profiles – it’s Chrome-based, actively supported, and works well for modern websites, browser extensions, and automation
- Use Stealthfox only when your workflow still needs Firefox-style behavior or Firefox extensions – Stealthfox is now a legacy option, so it won’t receive new core updates
Working with mobile apps instead?
Use Android cloud phones. Mimic and Stealthfox are for browser profiles, while cloud phones are for Android app workflows.

FAQs
Can I still use Stealthfox?
Yes. Existing Stealthfox profiles still work, but Stealthfox is now a legacy browser core and won’t receive new core updates.
Should I switch to Mimic now?
For most new browser profiles, yes. Mimic is the better default because it’s actively supported and works well with modern websites, extensions, and automation tools.
Can I change the browser after I create a profile?
No. Choose Mimic or Stealthfox before creating the browser profile.
To switch browser cores later, create a new profile with the browser type you need.
Is fingerprint protection automatic?
Multilogin applies browser profile settings automatically when you create a profile.
Most users should keep the default settings. Change advanced fingerprint settings only when you know exactly what you need to adjust.
