How to fix error “Restricted by plan”

When trying to invite a team member, you may see an error “Restricted by plan”. The fix is quick and easy! Simply delete the “deps” folder in your file system and get back to work in no time.

This action is completely safe! It refreshes the app components needed for Multilogin to work smoothly. No data will be lost during the process, so you're good to go! 😊

 

Avoid deleting the mlx folder, as this may result in a complete or partial data loss. 

 
  1. Close the desktop app 🖥️ or disconnect the agent if you're using the web interface 🌐
  2. Go to the mlx folder:
    1. Windows: C:\Users\%username%\mlx
    2. macOS: /Users/%username%/mlx
    3. Linux: /home/%username%/mlx
  3. Delete the deps folder
  4. Reopen the desktop app 🖥️ or reconnect the agent for the web interface 🌐
  5. Start any profile – this will automatically kick off the components download process
