How to fix a profile stuck on active status
If your Multilogin X profile is stuck on “Stop” and just won’t budge – don’t panic. It’s usually fixable in a few quick steps!

Why this happens
This usually happens when you close the browser profile with ❌ instead of stopping the profile from the dashboard.
Closing profiles the wrong way can lead to data loss. Always end sessions from the dashboard.
How to fix it
- Double-check that the profile isn't running elsewhere (another device or browser instance)
- Restart the agent using the guide How to disconnect and reconnect the agent
- Reload the profile list and see if it returns to normal
