What running profiles are for
Running profiles – whether regular or quick – is where your work comes to life. Multilogin X now makes it super easy to see and manage all your active profiles in one place.
Why running profiles are useful
- Total control: see all your running profiles in one place to avoid confusion
- Efficiency boost: stop or save multiple profiles with just a few clicks
- No data loss: save quick profiles if you want to keep their session info for later
- Better organization: filter and sort profiles to focus on exactly what you need right now
How to view running profiles
- Go to the “Profiles” tab
- Click “Running profiles”
- See the full list of profiles currently running (both regular and quick)
- Use the selector at the top to filter by regular or quick profiles

How to stop running profiles
- Go to the “Profiles” tab
- Click “Running profiles”
- Stop profiles:
- Click the “Stop” button on the right side of any running profile to close it, or
- Select multiple profiles using checkboxes, then click “Stop” in the top menu to close them all at once

How to copy profile ID
- Go to the “Profiles” tab
- Click “Running profiles”
- Copy profile ID:
- Right-click a running profile and select “Copy profile ID”, or
- Select multiple profiles using checkboxes, then click “Copy profile ID” in the top menu
The list of IDs will be copied to your clipboard, separated by commas.

How to save quick profiles as regular
Quick profiles are temporary and deleted when stopped – but now you can save them:
- Go to the “Profiles” tab
- Click “Running profiles”
- Save quick profile as regular:
- Right-click a running quick profile and click “Save as regular”, or
- Select running quick profile(s) with checkboxes and click “Save as regular” in the top menu
Saved profiles move to local storage by default – you can switch to cloud storage in profile settings later.

FAQs
What happens if I stop a quick profile without saving it?
It gets deleted along with all its data. Saving it first preserves the session and local storage.
Can I save multiple quick profiles as regular at once?
Yes! Just select them with checkboxes and use the “Save as regular” option.
Where are saved profiles stored?
By default, saved profiles go to your computer’s local storage, but you can switch to cloud storage anytime in profile settings.
Can I copy IDs of multiple running profiles?
Absolutely! Select profiles using checkboxes, then click “Copy profile ID” to get all their IDs at once.
