Multilogin X is glad to announce our brand-new CLI tool, allowing every user to easily run automation functions through a simple command line interface. Follow the steps below to quickly set up the tool and start!
Install the CLI
- Download the latest CLI tool version:
- Extract the files into a local folder
- If using macOS or Linux, please make sure to change the executable flag by using
chmod +x xcli
- If using macOS or Linux, please make sure to change the executable flag by using
Run the CLI
You can't create a new account in CLI tool: you will need an existing account to log in.
- Make sure the Multilogin X launcher is active
- Open your local command line interface (CLI):
- Windows: Command Prompt
- macOS: Terminal
- Locate the folder where you extracted the CLI tool
- Run the app via
xcli.exe
- Enter your account via
xcli login
The login command generates an access token that is valid for 24h. After it expires, you will need to log in again.
xcli login --username yourusername --password yourpassword
The password should NOT be MD5 hashed: type it exactly as you registered it.
Use help flags to get full login command information: xcli login -h
or xcli login -help
Command categories
When using a command for the first time, we recommend to use -h
at the end to get information of all available flags.
